Although one or two ideas were interesting, overall I found this book a nightmare if fully implemented. Causing employees to attack each other in meetings, instead of addressing issues in private. (Hello HR). Encouraging employees to tell their managers their shortcomings on a job, or how they aren’t the right fit. And giving your boss a scorecard on how his meeting went (yeah right that’s helpful).I would NOT recommend. As an EOS implementer I was very interested in the format of this book and how it helped leaders teach their teams about EOS. The design of this book delivers as something that will facilitate learning for people unfamiliar with EOS. There are summaries at the end of every chapter, and even a couple of new methods shared to help teams doing things like IDS and creating valuable scorecards for their group. My favorite chapter was the one on the People Analyzer and getting feedback because it challenged people to own their development and equips them to lead the feedback conversation with their leader. There are questions throughout that will also help make this a conversation between a leader and their team members. If you are an EOS company this should be part of your onboarding of people and a tool for all your leaders at any level to use with their teams.
